Our Doctors

Dr. David Wong has been practicing optometry since 2002, offering more than 20 years of experience in delivering comprehensive eye care. His clinical training included rotations in primary eye care and contact lenses at Sheppard Air Force Base, as well as at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. He also completed specialized training in ocular disease management at St. James Hospital and Health Center in Olympia Fields, IL, and in comprehensive eye care at the Hudson Valley VA Hospital in Montrose, NY.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Wong enjoys a wide range of hobbies—including video games, tennis, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. He’s also an avid LEGO collector. A fun fact: while Dr. Wong is passionate about great food, he’ll be the first to admit—he’s definitely better at eating than cooking!

Dr.  Elsa Chow completed her clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute, VA Hudson Valley Medical Center in New York, and the Naval Ambulatory Health Center in Connecticut. She brings broad expertise in contact lens fitting, pediatric vision care, and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. Her clinical interests also include treating computer vision syndrome, myopic control and performing foreign body removal.

Dr. Chow has extensive experience fitting a wide range of contact lenses, including multifocal, toric (for astigmatism), and rigid gas permeable designs. She provides personalized vision care tailored to each patient’s unique visual needs.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Chow enjoys traveling with her family, going to Disneyland, and volunteering with the Santa Clarita Ballet Company, where her daughter performs.

Dr. Andrew Choi earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. During his clinical rotations, he gained extensive experience with a wide range of ocular conditions and specialized training in areas including contact lenses, dry eye, vision therapy, low vision, pediatrics, and ocular disease. Prior to becoming an optometrist, Dr. Choi spent fifteen years in the dental field, giving him a unique perspective on whole-body patient care.

Dr. Choi is happily married and has one son. He serves on the leadership committee of the praise and worship band at his church. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and following his favorite sports.

Dr. Stephen Healey earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1991 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors from California Polytechnic University.

He completed clinical rotations at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles, North Orange County Community Clinic in Anaheim, Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington, and at the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Healey practiced in private practice for three years before joining Eyexam of California / LensCrafters, where he served for over 24 years. Since 2017, he has been part of the team at Visio Optometry.

Dr. Healey has been actively involved in professional organizations including the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. He served on the Board of Directors for the Tri-Counties Optometric Association and participated in Project Concern. He has also contributed to state-mandated vision screening programs in the Valencia, Saugus, and Newhall School Districts.

In addition, Dr. Healey has served as a Clinical Investigator and a C.O.P.E.-approved National Speaker for CIBA Vision, focusing on advancements in contact lenses. He is among the first optometrists to volunteer with AeroMedicos, a nonprofit delivering medical care to underserved areas in Mexico.

Outside of optometry, Dr. Healey enjoys spending time with his family, caring for his dogs, and practicing martial arts.
